AIA Homes Tour This Weekend!

The Silver Agave House, our entry in the AIA Austin homes tour this weekend.

Here's a personal invitation to all friends, family, clients, potential clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and anyone interested in good residential design to attend the AIA homes tour this weekend. There are twelve unique and wonderful homes open to you this Saturday and Sunday from noon until 6 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 this weekend. Go to aiaaustin.org for more information.

CG&S has a house on the tour, the Silver Agave House located at 2910 W. 49th Street. We took a one story, 1000 SF cottage built in 1949 and transformed it into a two story, 2000 SF modern home without compromising the spirit and scale of the neighborhood, and in fact enhancing it.

You'll see what I mean if you come to our house. We'll show you around and you can visit with the designer, Mark Lind, and the superintendent, Danny Scott. After that, only eleven more houses to go!
