This is an interesting image because it shows the original exterior of the existing small cottage, the rock texture wall on the left. This old surface has now become a part of a hall that connects painting studio, laundry room, and entrance hall and stair. In this way a part of the soul of the original house is preserved, adding it's presence to the new space.
